Jesse Jones Memorial Judo Tournament
The 2024 California State Summer Games will be truly special. This year, San Diego is host to the biennial Olympic-style event featuring competition between California athletes and State Games medal winners (gold, silver, bronze) from across the nation.

Submitting Judo Registration Card: During Online Registration, you can now upload a pdf or image/photo of your Judo Membership card. Or after registering online, email a copy of your National Registration card to entries@calstategames.org
Open to all athletes from California and Nevada.
Open to Male and Female competitors with current membership in a National Judo Organization (USJA , USJF or USA Judo).

Competition begins at 10:00am
Deadline of all weigh-ins is Midnight Thursday July 18, 2024
Double elimination scoring system will be used for 6 or more competitors. Round Robin system will be used for divisions with 5 or less competitors.
Match time:
Juniors, Novice, and Masters: 3 minutes
Senior Brown & Black Belts: 4 minutes
Open to Male and Female competitors with current membership in a National Judo Organization (USJA , USJF or USA Judo).
Modified IJF Rules for both male and female competition. No chokes and arm locks permitted in the 12 and below divisions. No arm locks permitted in the 16 and under divisions, or the Novice divisions. White Judo Gis are mandatory. Blue Judo Gis are optional. All competitors are required to bring their own white and blue belts. Pre-2003 Medical Injury Rules for all divisions except for Sr. Brown and Black belts.
Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals will be awarded in each division, level and class. Winners must be in complete regulation judo uniforms to accept awards.
