Open to all AAU card-holding athletes. All lifters must have current AAU membership card

AAU cards: $24 adults, $14 youth, at www.aausports.org.  

All Cards must be bought online prior to the meet and presented at Weigh-ins/Check-in! As part of the card process, all lifters age 20 and over will have a background check preformed. Process can add a week to get Card approval.

If you do not have a current AAU Membership, you can apply after September 15, 2022 and it will apply to that date through September 30, 2023; or you may get a multi-year membership now.

Powerlifting Body Weight Categories

• Women: 30kg, 35kg, 40kg, 44kg, 47.5kg, 52.5kg, 56kg, 60kg, 67.5kg, 75kg, 82.5kg, 90kg, 100kg

Men:  30kg, 35kg, 40kg, 44kg, 47.5kg, 52.5kg, 56kg, 60kg, 67.5kg, 75kg, 82.5kg, 90kg, 100kg, 110kg, 125kg, 140kg, 

Weigh-ins: 

Early weigh-ins 6:00-7:30pm the night before group lifters

Regular weigh-ins 7:00-8:30am the morning of the applicable lifting Session

24 hour weigh-in rules applied

Lifting Schedule:

9/30/22, 9am: all Women plus Men 67.5kg and under

10/1/22, 9am: Men 75kg-82.5kg

10/2/22, 9am: Men 90kg-140kg

Current AAU rules will govern.  Weight Classes will be enforced.  One piece lifting suits required. 

Age Determining Date:  Age on date of competition.

The 2022 California State Games will be held in conjunction with the AAU Worlds.  All AAU athletes may also enter the AAU Worlds in additon to the California State Games. for your lifts to count for both. 

Lifters 19 years old and under may also enter in the AAU Junior Olympic Games
