The 2024 California State Summer Games will be truly special. This year, San Diego is host to the biennial Olympic-style event featuring competition between California athletes and State Games medal winners (gold, silver, bronze) from across the nation.

  • DIVISIONS & FEES

    Entry Fees:

    • $100

    ENTRY DEADLINE:  July 1, 2024


    A $20 late fee will be added to registrations recieved between July 1 and July 10, 2024


  • ELIGIBILITY

    Open to all USA Weightlifting members from California and Nevada. Must have a current USAW membership number to compete.

    Weightlifting Body Weight Categories


    • Women: 45kg, 49kg, 55kg, 59kg, 64kg, 71kg, 76kg, 81kg, 87kg, +87kg,

    • Men:  55kg, 61kg, 67kg, 73kg, 81kg, 89kg, 96kg, 102kg, 109kg, +109kg,

  • RULES & FORMAT

    Competition Format: Two-hand snatch and two-hand clean and jerk.


    Current USAW rules will govern.  Weight Classes will be enforced.  One piece lifting suits required. 


    Age Determining Date:  Age on date of competition.

  • AWARDS

    Gold, Silver & Bronze medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each event.
