San Diego, California

The California State Games has been selected to host the 2024 State Games of America in San Diego. More than 20 sports will be offered including the Footgolf, Floorball and Yoga National Championships.

Moved from 2021 to 2022

Aimes - Des Moines, Iowa

The Iowa Games, in collaboration with, Iowa State University, Ames Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Catch Des Moines have been selected to host the 2022 State Games of America in Ames and Des Moines. More than 18,000 athletes are expected to compete in the national event moved to 2022.

July 31 - August 4, 2019

Lynchburg, Virginia

Virginia Amateur Sports, Liberty University, The City of Lynchburg and the Virginia Commonwealth Games hosted the State Games of America. The 2019 State Games of America in Lynchburg attracted 12,000+ competitors, with representatives from all 50 states and two territories!

Grand Rapids, Michigan

The State Games of America, a property of the National Congress of State Games, is a national multi-sport event, held biennially, for athletes of all ages and skill levels. If you receive a medal in the 2015 or 2014 California State Games, you qualify to compete in the 2017 State Games of America.

August 2015

Lincoln, Nebraska

The State Games of America, a property of the National Congress of State Games, is a national multi-sport event, held biennially, for athletes of all ages and skill levels. If you receive a medal in the 2013 State Games of America or 2014 California State Games, you qualify to compete in the 2015 State Games of America.

Hershey - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

The State Games of America, a property of the National Congress of State Games, is a national multi-sport event, held biennially, for athletes of all ages and skill levels. If you receive a medal in the 2011 State Games of America or 2012 California State Games, you qualify to compete in the 2013 State Games of America.

August 4-7, 2011

San Diego, California

The State Games of America, a property of the National Congress of State Games, is a national multi-sport event, held biennially, for athletes of all ages and skill levels. If you receive a medal in the 2009 California State Games and 2010 California State Games, you qualify to compete in the 2011 State Games of America.
